In FastBall, players take control of a rolling ball navigating through various obstacles with the sole ability to jump. By tapping the screen, players guide the ball through captivating environments across different game modes. 'Levels' mode offers 90 challenges spread across 2 level packs. 'Marathon' mode introduces special levels of considerable size that push players to their limits with three uniquely designed levels. 'Originals' mode includes the iconic levels that contributed to FastBall's fame, with more game modes set to be introduced in upcoming updates.

During gameplay, players collect stars – yellow stars being standard and blue stars considered special, equivalent to 5 yellow stars. These accumulated stars can be spent in the 'Store' section for various items to enhance the gaming experience.

Items include new themes to completely alter the game's appearance to suit personal preferences. Initially offering themes like 'Cartoon' (default), 'Futuristic', and 'Doodle', each theme comes with its unique music. Players can also acquire 'Ball Types' for a personalized gameplay experience. Initially offering 8 different ball types including 'FastBall' (default), 'BasketBall', 'FootBall', 'BaseBall', 'BeachBall', 'FireBall', 'HippieBall', and 'TechBall'. Additionally, players can buy features like 'Tokens', which allow skipping any level. Tokens are earned every 10 levels but can also be purchased at any time for added convenience.
